Robert M. Brkich, Jr., President & Owner

Shortly after graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business Administration, Bob joined the family business in 1988 driving trucks, operating equipment, and laying pipe.  After learning field operations, Bob moved indoors to do estimating, bookkeeping and became the company’s Secretary and Treasurer in 1990.  In 2001 Bob became President and owner of the firm his father founded thirty years prior.  As President and Owner, Bob is responsible for all aspects of the company but focuses on contractual relations, estimating, and the successful completion of each project and the satisfaction of his client partners.

John V. Lima, Secretary/Treasurer

John has been with Brkich Construction since he graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 1990, having earned his degree in Communications.  Like Bob, Johnny began his career at Brkich Construction learning the basics:  driving trucks, operating equipment, and digging trenches.  In 1993 John’s business acumen and organizational skills were put to work as he took on new responsibilities for business development and project management.  In 2001, John filled the Secretary/Treasurer post that Bob left when he became President.  John is currently responsible for construction management of all Brkich Construction projects.  He oversees the daily activities of every project, including budgets and schedules, coordination of subcontractors, material submittals and procurement, construction quality control and safety programs.

Larry E. Keeling, Project Superintendent

Larry started in the pipeline business in 1978 as a pipe layer and came to work at Brkich Construction in 1980 as equipment operator and project manager.  He has extensive hands-on experience managing projects ranging in size from $50,000 to over $5,000,000.  Larry oversees individual construction projects with responsibilities including: ordering and scheduling material deliveries, employee scheduling, jobsite safety, coordination of subcontractors, attending management meetings, and setting construction schedules.
